OK, so I've never personally tried TF1, if it is like the other TF games, then the SSID will swap AND the Kai Aid wouldn't work because the game uses a random SSID generation. I might be wrong, as you said, it's the same SSID joining or hosting (unless the SSID ends with '_LOBBY') but TF4 & 5 both swapped their SSID's as I recall.
IMO, if the SSID doesn't swap (and you tried Monster Hunter) it will be a port forwarding issue and one or both of you will need to get that sorted out before you go any further..

Well if you have ruled out all the points that i mentioned in my previous post, then the last thing i can say is try another bridge version there are v1 and v2 maybe this will help. It looks to me like your friends PSP is connected for a few seconds and then the connection breaks off thats why the "usbclosedevice" message pops up. It happened to me that i played with kai closed the programm and startet it 1minute later again with my psp turned off because the battery was dead and it was still detected funny eh. Try the points i mentioned in my previous post maybe the usb cable is broken somehow try another one. And did you portforward port 30000 udp ?

Yes, the error sais that the device is not working (sorry for not translate it), but that makes no sense, because his PSP is detected on Kai... And the other day we can see each other host, but not today... This is not only a problem of our local configurations/networks, the Kai Orbital network maybe is involved too... Because is soo strange that ping, why I have no ping with my friend, but my friend with me yes?

One of the devices isnt working i guess i dont know spanish so sorry if im wrong. He should try to reinstall the PSP type B driver and make sure that plugins that use the driver like remotejoy lite are turned off and check if the usb cable isnt loose. Another try would be to replace the libus.dll

just drag and drop it onto the bridge.exe

Yeah I know about xlink kai aid, but the thing is that theoretically don't swap SSID, because I see the same SSID when hosting and when joining... I don't know, maybe it will work, but I don't think so... We will try it and see what happens
Update: I have some news about the problem. Today we tried again to play Yugioh, but this time my friend didn't saw my host. Also, today there was something strange about the ping... My friend saw me with a ping about 100, but I didn't saw ping to him (Establishing link says the kai). Also my friend has a error with the bridge.exe
Maybe this is the problem...

If you host the game and the game uses ssid swapping your friend has to connect to your ssid, if he uses the adhoctousb plugin alone he wont be able to ssid swap except he uses it with xlink aid.
xlink aid here:

Posted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 7:47 pm Post subject: Yugioh GX Tag force 1 problem
Hi everyone, I have problems when trying to use Kai with Yugioh GX Tag Foce 1. I have a Belkin adapter compatible with ZyDAS and I set up it correctly, my friens uses plugins because don't have a compatible adapter.
Here is the problem. I choose network from the main menu to enter the lobby, then I connect ZyDAS to that network, I create a group, my friend join the group, and when the game is about to start, a connection error occurs.
It seems that the game is single SSID, because I don't see any message from Kai about SSID changes, and also I refresh the network list to verufy it and didn't see any change.
After the first error we can't see each other anymore (until we restart everything).
The error message for the joiner sais: connection timeout, the message for the host is simply connection error.
I don't know what is happening. Maybe it was the ping, which was about 130.
