| Have you port forwarded kai (30000 udp) and the webui (34522 enable both tcp and udp) ports ? |

| Open the config of your router go to the firewall settings and uncheck the option "Block Anonymous Internet Requests" and save the settings. Heres the manual--> http://www.cisco.com/web/consumer/support/modem_DPC3825.html If its still not working disable the firewall completely and run kai just to check if the firewall of the modem is causing this problem. |

Does my config setup have anything to do with it?
I use this old guide on how to play monster hunter using wifi max & Zydas,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlTYhgxxo2w
Also, since I last used Kai I had gotten a new modem, and upgraded from regular/high speed to broadband for much faster speeds.
These are the only things I can think of that may be causing the problem. Any thoughts? I want to get to the bottom of this... |

Yes I've tried almost everything, and I really would prefer if I could use firefox on it, I've used it on firefox before no problem. I will try with google chrome. Just tried it, same thing happens with chrome.
"or the kai program UI itself ?"
I can't even open the UI because it closes immediatly and says "Orbital sync lost".
What is going on, I'm getting really pissed I just want to play monster hunter online like I used to. Why is it doing this now, is it the new version of Kai? |

| I have done everything and still have the problem. It goes to "detached from engine" immediatly. What is going on... this is so annoying. |

| After you uninstalled Kai close all webbrowsers and start ccleaner with default settings. Click the button analyze when done click start ccleaner, next click on registry click on scan for errors when done click on correct errors and thats it for the ccleaner part. If your appdata folder is hidden heres the solution--> http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/394-hidden-files-folders-show-hide.html the same method applies for xp and vista as well. |

and yet after all that the problem still persists...
"Use both the "Cleaner" and "Registry" features and make sure it deletes the files/references. This way it SHOULD remove any temporary internet files as well as old kai registry references(from previous kai builds) that might be causing the runtime error. "
what exactly does that mean? What do I use? (I mean what do I select in CCleaner) |

I tried disabling my AV program and that didn't do anything. I think it may be my old files and config conflicting with the new version.
But I'm going to copy the Config file so that I know what to put in and so that I remember my password etc. |
