it works now, thanks
everything is going fine but, when i enter a server, it says that there are 11 people online in it, then when i enter, it only shows 3 people on the right, and one private server on the left showing 1/12 players in it. also, there are some people who chat there, but i cant see them on any lists... i suppose there is another forum about this? apart from all of that, the online play is excellent.
thanks! |

Open the kaiUserConfig.txt and change the value
# Use Web User Interface instead of GUI program
kaiWebUI=1 to 0
Thats how you switch from webUI to kaiUI. Or change it via configure kai in the start menu with the webbrowser that should open. |
it works, but once i configure it, and try to start "configure kai" or "start kai" it shows error: "kai engine has detected a problem and must close".
i tried re-installing xlink kai then on the KaiUserConfig.txt i changed kaiWebUI=1 to 0 just like you said, and now it seems to open fine but it gets stuck on "looking for kai engine". i don't have my psp connected or anything.
and again, thanks. |

its now solved, seems that i needed to update windows compleatly... i can now start "configure kai", but a new problem appeared :\
after i finished configuring kai, then clicked save, it says that kai engine has detected a problem and must close, then when i try to run "configure kai" again, it shows the same problem instantly, also by running "start kai" but "start user interface" works fine... any help? and sorry fore giving more problems...
EDIT: also, the "configure kai" opens on web browser... its supposed to be like that? |

| Have you enabled javascript in your webbrowser ? Have you deactivated browser plugins that might interfere like noscript ? |

Akaa, can you capture the outputs of the following commands?
After opening a command prompt, type this command:
| Code: |
cd "C:\Documents and Settings"
dir /b /a
|
And then type this command:
| Code: |
dir /b /s KaiUserConfig.txt
|
You may substitute keyword (e.g. dir /b /s *xlink*).
Thanks |

| Have you redownloaded the the latest version of kai ? Maybe your last downloaded and installed version was corrupted or not completely downloaded. Always download the latest kai build on the official homepage nowhere else. |

Could you post your kai config its located in

you can even manually change the config by changing the values in the document. |
i looked for the "%user%" folder, and it isn't there, i found: "All Users" (app data wasn't there). i also found "Samsung" and inside was "application data", but not the "kaiuserconfing.txt". i think because i never really got to that part, cause my problem is that i cant run "start kai" and "configure kai", i keep getting "http://127.0.0.1:34522/" error message, then it closes. |
