I tried Ubuntu 10.10 in a virtual machine and it worked fine for me, try running this and see if it works

I get the following in Ubuntu 10.04 x64

Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so

This happens after installing the 32 bits packages described in this sticky. |
