HELP XLINK KAI CRASHES ON STARTUP!!!!!!!!!

my xlink kai crashes the moment i press start kai or configure kai going into the user interface works but then it can't find the kai engine im on 64 bit windows 7 running kai in compatability mode (xp sp2) ive ran everything as administrator and done allsorts it was working fine yesterday on my 360 ive got it plugged into my laptop and port 30000 is forwarded etc i was even playing games of mw3 yesterday and now the little white box appears and it appears in the taskbar (bottom right of screen) and then just crashes again but it only appears for like 1/5 of a second

hmm.....

it just tells me that the website sent no data??
was there something i had to do with it??
