Is your network reachable? it was
[b]Are you using a router?no, planex wireless LAN card
[b]Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai? yes
[b]Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? cant enter configure kai
[b]Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable?cannot enter kai UI or config
[b]What console are you using? PSP 3001
[b]Is your console being detected? Sould be detected
[b]Brief description of your network setup: Modem-Router-PC-Planex-PSP
[b]Model numbers of the router, and modem? Motorola SB5101 and linksys WRT54G
[b]Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? No
[b]Operating System? Windows xp SP3
[b]Problem description? A few months ago my PC broke so I had to do a system restore, when I installed xlink kai again , i tried running both the (configure kai) and the (start kai) but every time it says(The kai engine was unable to contact the xlink server.ERROR 408) Sad. Note: before the system restore everything worked perfectly.

Already tried all of those before didnt help Confused

I had the same error message just with the number 502 at the ending. What i did was i closed the error message and rebooted my pc. Then doing the steps in the link http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32242 that Lionheart posted after that i installed kai and it worked again.
