Guys

ive read a lot of forums, here is the deal:

I want to play MHP3 on Xlink Kai.
I have a WHITE wifi max bought a few years ago.
I have Windows 7 64 bit
I have a psp custom firmware 6.60 pro b-10 something

My wifi max usb wl-685z updates it self into atheros driver.

If i start xlink kai, my psp is reconigzed by the WIFI MAX but in the GH i cant see anyone.
Xlink kai network is also reachable.

I tried to install zdwlan utility with every compabitly and it just keeps on dissappearing.

I don;'t know what to do else anymore..

If i follow the guides here the most of the links are dead so its useless.

Could anyone describe me what to do exactly?

Again, wifi max is installed (white one, wl 685z) psp is recongized and network is reachable).

In the guild hall i can't see anyone..

Do you use the right plugin the one you need is "adhoctousbv2 for 6.xx". Have you enabled psp xlink mode--> http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/8320/bild8.gif and port forwarded port 30000 udp ? Maybe this topic will solve your issue--> http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42661 a guide for the "white wifi max" is here (Note: Even though the packing shows a black stick, its for the white one) use the vista section and run everything in vista compatibility mode--> http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36528

And i didnt find the xlink kai function in the wireless adapter list so i thought i needed à driver but all the links are dead and on the website i cant find the right drivers.
So i thought zydass wlan but that stupid company was taken over by atheros.
So i searched and finally i had zdwlan the stupid thing keeps dissappearing!

Sad

Cant say if it will work but here are the vista 32 bit drivers (zydas tool for vista)--> http://us.codejunkies.com/support/article.aspx?article_id=383 have you tried just to install the driver and use the build in windows wlan utility ?

The alternative is uninstall everything for wifi max. Install and run "unknown device identifier" (wifi max has to be plugged in) and check the chipset if it has chipsets (RT2870/RT2770/RT307X/RT2070
RT357X/RT3370/RT8070/RT5X7X) or (RT257x/RT2671/RT520x) download the drivers here--> http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/support.php?sn=500 and install the drivers in WIN XP Compatibility Mode very important !!! This should make the "PSP Xlink mode option appear" the wlan utility that comes with the driver is useless better use the windows build in wlan tool.

Download and install "unknown device identifier"--> http://download.cnet.com/Unknown-Device-Identifier/3000-2086_4-42618.html run it. Look for your wifi usb stick (if you havent the driver installed it should say unknown device) click on the plus sign of it and next on chip, the menu should look like this--> http://i.i.com.com/cnwk.1d/i/tim/2012/01/24/54771002c6ce0a0e79144b92e69b9676b654_1udi.gif If you have the chip number compare it with the ones listed on this site--> http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/support.php?sn=500 If they match youre lucky all thats left to do is to download and install the driver in win xp compatibility mode--> http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-compatibility-mode/ and enable psp xlink mode under properties of your wifi max--> http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/8320/bild8.gif
