look,it has the same design (and actually it is) GW-US54Mini2W.
this adapter I think is pretty much easier to use than any others out there ^^

yeah,i've just played Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce with 3 people just now
and well 20€ in coparison to 40 € is .....XD
it's easy to setup:

install the driver from planex.net like i said above (about 3,4 posts).
go to hardware manager to enable Xlink
then plug in that adapter
finish Very Happy

well, i got another question:
i use a w-lan card to connect to the internet, can i use it and the conrad to connect to the psp at the same time? that i dont need to be wired to the router?

sr,cant help you, i dont know much about networrk.
but i think it cant be, your psp + conrad + kai and youtr wland card for other use - just saying what i thought
may be somebody else can help

I do have a Planex model (I just keep calling it a Wifi Max by mistake).

thank you sooo much, zwee, I picked up the adapter today and it took like 3 minutes to get it working! it works fine, I can even use the w-lan card, which is in my laptop, to connect to the internet, so no need to be wired Smile

Well I just bought this:

And it worked fine with Window 7. I just followed the instructions inside the disc and loaded the new driver that came in the disk as well. Used the instructions and drivers for Vista.

I had to mess around with it a bit because Window 7 is a bit different from Vista but it works. =]

I've purchased the GW-US54GXS and eventually managed to get it up and running after manually installing the drivers, but now I can't get past the step where I'm checking the box for allowing other users to connect through my computer's Internet connection (Local Area Connection Properties).

I keep getting a message which tells me that an error occurred when the Internet connection was established :S

Anyone else had this? I'm running on Vista.

Edit: Problem solved, don't ask me how though, lol.

i got the gw-us54mini2w for my laptop that is running vista. for some reason i cant get anything to work. i tried installing the driver on the cd that came with it. i also tried every other driver that is located here:

edit:: it got worse... at first I had an error code 39. that got resloved i think because now i am getting an error code 18. asking me to reinstall the driver but its all not working... this socks...

I seem to be having the same issue with zoncxs. I have installed the drivers, and changed the compatibility option and overwrite the old one. However, when I insert the GW-US54Mini2G, it encountered an error when installing it. It says the file cannot be found. Even when I tried to manually update the driver, it can't be done? Can someone pls advise me what can I do/ send me the driver file? I am running on vista home premium 32bit. I can be reached at damienchong@hotmail.com. Thanks!
