Right click on your Network card in device manager and update the drivers for the NIC. Then remove Kai from the control panel - add/remove programs. Then after that delete the folder in C:\Program files called XLink Kai Evo7 and reboot the system after that. Then go to http://www.teamxlink.co.uk and reinstall the application and see if that doesn't fix the problem. Report back once done.

PS.. Also make sure when you are checking the config in the app, you have a system link game in and searching for games. Thanks,

did not works.

until last received update all worked fine.
now no card are detected. both cards work fine i think. i can reach internet in both configuration with xbox (directly connected to router, or through pc) with both cards, but in kaiconfig i got only "auto detect and lock" or "auto deteck and don't lock".

network cards are:
"VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter"
and
"Scheda Fast Ethernet PCI CNet PRO200"

You have a router, so can you plug the Xbox and the PC into the router? About the network card, does the application show it although it is not selected in the Kai config?

And it use to work you say, so something has changed. And you did delete and reinstall XLink Kai?

Have you tried removing the cards from device manager and then rebooting to see if it helps?

yes i've reinstalled almost everything except Windows Smile

i think next move is to install a plain Windows XP on another partition running only kai and then try if this works, but, if possible, i would (if i can) to escape this raw solution.

That's a tricky one there man. Not sure why your NICs are not in the Kai config. I will talk it over with a few people and see if I can't come up with a solution.

OK DON'T RE-INSTALL WINDOWS Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

You most likely ran some sort of registry cleaner, which has since killed the registry entries for the psSDK and it's list of devices. Here's a registry entry which should fix it for you.

http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/hnerr.reg

Run that and merge it into your registry. Then try again and see if they show up.

Excellent.

There's a problem directly downloading .reg files on the Internet, so,

http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/nic-registry-fix.zip is the correct URL now.

Glad it's working Smile

i had the same problem, but even the registry fix did not help.

mcafee virus scanner was the root cause. after latest update (10-Feb) it started to remove hnpssdk.drv as virus.

the problem can be solved reinstalling kai when mcafee is turned off. also it mcafee must be disbled when kai is running.

if mcafee is enabled when reinstalling kai the process will be completed "successfully" without any error messages from either installer or mcafee but the result is the same - no NICs found.

the force is strong in me Cool
