Good day everyone,

I have an old (black) wifi max. I have had success with xlink kai in the past and I thought I would give it a shot again to try to play MHFU with a friend of mine but I have ran into issues.

I have used this guide: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=evo7:pspwifimaxconnectionguide and I have checked the forums but it doesn't seem like any of them answered my questions.

I managed to find my old ZYDAS file I used with xlink and I currently have it installed. The link in the guide refering to the ZYDAS download file is broken. Is there an updated version I should be using?

Also, I would like to point out by following the guide, even in xlink kai (7.4), under Metrics it says my PSP is detected.

However, when I try and test it out to see if other people appear in the guild hall (Channel 1 in ad-hoc mode and channel 1 in the guild hall as well), no one is appearing.

Additionally, while talking with some other people, I could see some of their pings but my own ping could not be detected by them. I feel as if there are things I am unsure about it, perhaps I missed them in the guide or in the forums, if that is the case I apologize about that. If anyone could help me with this, that would be much appreciated. If there is any more information that I need to post, please let me know that as well.

Did you portforward port 30000 udp if not this might explain why you are pingless for others. Concerning the driver as long as its working it should be fine so i wouldnt do any changes.

Yes, at this moment I have this under configuration.
Port: 30000
Deep Port: 0
Web UI Port: 34522

Do any of these numbers need to change?

Did you port forward port 30000 udp in your router was my question. Having port 30000 in the kai config doesnt do anything as long as you havent forwarded correctly. No changes necessary in your config when it comes to numbers your good on this part.

Ah, my misunderstand. I went into the router and port-forwarded it to port 30000. I tried again with my friend, both of our consoles are detected and under metrics, Reachable" is showing "yes".

Quick question, should the port forward be set to just UDP or is it okay to have it set to "BOTH"? The guide I followed showed BOTH.

However, at the time of writing this I only had time to test it with my friend and still for ping it says to him "Est". From other people that was on at the time, their pings didn't show up to me so I couldn't help test things with them.

By chance is there anything else I could have missed or haven't done that also might cause problems? Thank you for your time,

30000 udp only, is necessary. If you have done as in the guide for your stick and os here-->http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36540 you should be good.
