Hi
Im trying to connect my ps3 to xlink kia. i have a D-Link DSL2750U modem/router. my ps3 is connected to the modem/router via a cat5e cable and pc to the modem router with a cat5 cable.
i have port forwarded and xlink starts "fine". i can see all the game sub menus but cannot see anyone online. i start xlink first, then start up the ps3 and black ops for example. i go back into xlink and see 2 mac address's. one is red and one blue.
i tried disabling DHCP on my pc but then my downloads doesnt work neither does xlink.
help please |

o yes. im using avg internet security and xlink has been added to my firewall exceptions |

Have you tried running kai first and start your ps3 afterwards ? Have you set your internet connection settings of your ps3 to automatic ? |

yip. i always run kai first. and my internet connection is on automatic. like i said kai does recognize my ps3 but theres 2 mac address's. one in red and the other in blue |

Have you managed to play via kai so far ? Have you selected the right adapter/network card in your config ? Dont set it to auto. |

i selected my network adapter. i even tried a fresh install of windows and im using kaspersky instead of avg. still keep on getting one red and one blue mac address
MUST I be configure on a static ip? i tried that once but then i cant browse or even download on my pc
if it helps i am using an ADSL Dlink Modem/Router (DSL 2750U) |

finally got it working. i HAD to change to static IP. anyway this app is awesome!!! just wish we could play fifa12 with kai |
