Is your network reachable? Yes (After awhile)
Are you using a port-forward? Yes (port 30000)
Is your console being detected? no
Brief description of your network setup (include model numbers): DGL-4500 Xtreme N Gaming Router; connected to 2 pcs-2 xboxs, 4 wireless devices
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? no
Operating System? XLink Kai engine runs on my Windows Home Server (running 24/7) on a Windows Server 2003 backend.
Problem description? RGH'd Xbox 360 doesn't detect XLink Kai Engine running
The server is on a static IP address of 192.168.1.10. So I have the router configured to forward all port 30000 requests (UDP and TCP) to that address. The Xlink Kai engine connects, and says it's connected. I can also see people in the general chat room. On the XBOX side, I have ticked the options to have it automatically log in with the settings stored in the engine. It just sits there on trying to find the engine, then says it can't find it. I have also tried to manualy enter the server's address (192.168.1.10) to no success as well. |

I did have the Remote UI access ticked, but I didn't have the option set to Seperated use. When I set it and clicked SAVE though, the window closed then reopened, and that box was empty again. Does it save and just not display? |

Normally it should save the settings have you javascript blocked or any browser plugin that blocks it like noscript ? If it still wont work use IE to change the settings. |

I'm not using anything that is specifically blocking anything. Just standard Internet Explorer. It seems to have worked though as I can connect now. Now I just need to find people to play with. |
