The Screenshots here are from Soul Sacrifice Delta, however the instructions are the same for both games, just use the correct patches for your game :)

For Soul Sacrifice the game needs to be patched to remove the ping limit imposed on the game. This limit is set to about 24ms and is pretty much impossible to overcome over an internet connection otherwise.

Doing this requires a modded Playstation Vita!

The patches provided are suitable for:

• Soul Sacrifice (USA), Game ID: PCSA00092
• Soul Sacrifice (Europe), Game ID: PCSF00178
• Soul Sacrifice (Asia), Game ID: PCSD00065
• Soul Sacrifice (JP), Game ID: PCSC00039

*All Games MUST be Updated to the latest version*

Requirements

• A modded Playstation Vita running at least firmware 3.60.
• A way to play the Playstation Vita online over XLink Kai (Not covered here).
• One of the Soul Sacrifice titles

Make sure the game is up-to-date or this will not work.

Vita

1. Download FAGDec from the following link: link.
2. Download rePatch from the following link: link.
3. Use VitaShell to place FAGDec.vpk into ux0.
4. Also place rePatch.skprx into 'ur0:/tai'.

   

5. Add 'ur0:tai/repatch.skprx' to the config.txt in the same folder under the “*KERNEL” section.

   

6. Install the FAGDec.vpk on the Vita using VitaShell.
7. Reboot the Vita.
8. Start FAGDec on the Vita (should be a program with a white icon called 'French American Games Decrypter').
9. Scroll down to "Soul Sacrifice™" and press X .

   

10. Scroll down to 'ux0:/patch/[TITLE ID]/eboot.bin' and press X

    

11. Press O .
12. Press Start
13. Scroll down to 'START DECRYPT(SELF)'.

    

14. Press X .
15. When it says done, close the program.

    

PC

1. Use VitaShell to obtain the eboot.bin from 'ux0:/FAGDec/patch/PCSA00152/eboot.bin' for the US version or 'ux0:/FAGDec/patch/PCSF00532/eboot.bin' for the EU version.

   

2. Download vita-unmake-fself from the following link: link and place it next to the eboot.bin.
3. Drag the eboot.bin on top of vita-unmake-fself.

   

4. Download XDelta from the following link: link and extract it next to the eboot.bin.elf.
5. Open XDeltaUI, for Patch: select the soulsacrificedeltaUSA.xdelta for the US version or Ssd130 EU.xdelta for the EU version file included with this guide, for Source File: select the eboot.bin.elf we just extracted, for Output File: save as eboot.patched.bin.elf.

   

6. Select 'Patch', XDelta should say 'File patched succesfully!'

   

7. Now grab vita-elf.inject from the following link: link and put it in the same folder as eboot.patched.bin.elf
8. Shift-Rightclick on the folder these files are in, and click on “Open with Powershell” or “Open in Windows Terminal” depending on the operating system.

   

9. Type in:

   .\vita-elf-inject.exe eboot.bin eboot.patched.bin.elf

10. And press Enter.
11. You should see the following:

    

12. Now copy the resulting eboot.bin to 'ux0:/rePatch/PCSA00152/' for the US version or 'ux0:/rePatch/PCSF00532/' for the EU version on the Vita.

    

13. If everything was done correctly you should now be able to start the game and enjoy some mulitplayer on XLink Kai!
