I tested with "XBMC 18-06-2006 (T3CH)" last weekend.
I just entered my settings and it connected wityhout problem.

Is Kai enabled in XBMC? Are the IP, User Name and Password entered correctly (in XBMC)?

Well, you don't have to stay on the phone, since the chat is taken care of by the game itself once you are in the game lobby.
The voice chat in XBMC is only usefull for coordinating the pre-game.

Well as I said in my previous post, devs "are aware..." since there is an official bug report for this. I'm just not certain about the "and fixing it" part.

That's odd...
When you updated XBMC, did you boot in another dash (or boot cd) before uploading? I had problems with files not being updated if they were in service.
Just a thought.

If you can see the user online in an arena, you simply have to highlight the nick and select "Add" on the left menu. But you can't add users by typing their names like with the PC UI.

In that case you have to reboot back into XBMC and change arenas.
I'm not certain, but you probably can use the PC UI to navigate the arenas while you're in the game, and just refresh the syslink lis ... |

You'll have to make yourself a bootdisk with a dashboard on it. EvoX makes good boot dashboard, but almost any will do really.
