I bought a new HD to replace my original on XBOX. I installed my new one on my pc, formatted it and used "xboxhdprepare". All ok by now. I UNLOCKED my original xbox and then replaced for the new one (samsung 120gb). I booted my xbox with Auto-INstaller Deluxe 2.1 and see if I could prepare my new HD from there. After the boot, it shows the message on a blue screeen: "Unleashx detected a new Hard Drive. Do you wish to format?" I formatted so... at the end of the process, it suddenly appear the AID2.1 menu and, about 1 second, it disappears, showing AGAIN that UNleashx message. And this keeps happening all the time. I just wish to install my new HD with AID or another way, if possible, but this blue screen ALWAYS shows, giving me no option.
I hope someone help me.

i have somethign for you man

just find a new release of UNLEASX burn it on a cdrw or a dvd
it has to b default.xbe file
just insert in in to the console and thats it
it will show you that blue screen and youll have to press
right triger left triger and ect ...
give it a go
i have done it a thousant times its the best way

Maybe I can try that too. But my problem IS the bluie screen, man. I already see this screen, I press both triggers and so on.. but when the process is complete, It shows me AGAIN this screen. You know what I mean? This blue screen shows ALL THE TIME!!
You asked me to burn unleashx on a CDRW to try , right? But if the blue screen bugs me again?? |

Tonight I booted my new HD with Slayer 2.6. I entered slayer menu, tried to format my HD, but nothing happens . I just click YES to format or install or anything else, and nothing happens. I noticed that on Slayer menu it shows drive C, E, F, etc but with my new HD it shows o (zero) on all drives (this doenst happens on my old HD - it shows the size). I also noticed that my BIOS is Unknown on the menu.  I tried to recognize my bios and takes too long and I quit.
I tried to link my xbox with my pc (using flashxpx) with Slayer booted and it connects to the new HD but it doenst pass the CONNECTED message (it says "connecting to 192.168.1.2" and under that shows "connected to 192.168.1.2") and nothing happens. With my old HD this doenst happens, cos it shows the partitions and everything.
I just dont know what to do anymore
ps: my new hd is a samsung 120gb 7200rpm) - I didnt try xboxhdm yet cos my floppy is damaged |

1 you shold chek the jumper it has to be on cable select
2 if it is and still you getting the problem ( with the burnd unleash dash as i told be4)
go and tell the retailer that the hd you bought from him is no good for you
thats all.

It is set to Cable Select and my BIOS always shows Unknown. I have evox 4.3935 |

just try this grab another hd biger or smallet
and without any preformating and shit just plug it in 2 the box and run the unleashx disc
i think its the hd fault thers something wrong with it
thats all
you have 3 years of guaranty (shold b) just replace the deam thing man. |

I will make my lst try today. I will use xboxhdm. If this doenst work, I will change my HD. But it is straneg, cos my HD model is supported with xbox |
