I'm disappointed at how the tournament is turning out. No one is ever in the arena! It won't work out. People should start getting on Kai. If you weren't going to be around for the tourney, you shouldn't have joined. |

have you tried PMing or emailing your opponents.
or if they have a IM meathod in there profile you could try contacting them that way.
Ive just played my first tourney match and it was a lot of fun.
tbh after all the time we have took to set this up, I would have hoped for more activity, but I cant force people to play. |

I think setting a date may be a better option for most tourney’s
I did not sign up for the MKDD tourney because I was out of town Sunday, really i could have still done the tourney the way it is set up now but it is too late to enter
I think the all at once would create a better experience because you would get to see everyone is participating
just my 2 cents |

I agree that everyone turning up at the same time to play there matches can be a lot of fun... but it in itself has its disadvantages.
- Arranging a time to suit the majority, + the organiser.
- Chaotic chat rooms
- Players missing, forgoten about the tourney... etc.
- Time Zones
i'm not saying that I wouldnt run a tourney where everyone turns up at the same time, but for 1 vs 1 tourneys, this can be the best way of setting it up, but I agree if you dont get people communicating, it can feel a little detached from the action.
Hopfully over time we will come to a format, where everyone can play. |
