Sure, as long as the engine that you are running is in the same LAN, then yes. Your settings on XBMC will direct to where the Kai engine should be found at, specifically your PC.

Just to reinforce what justblaze said but in smaller terms.

YOU CAN RUN THE UI BUT NOT THE ENGINE ON XBMC.

What would I put for the IP Address though for the engine? Because its DHCP on a HUB...The hub just gives out the same address I think(Um..My xbox doesnt get a IP address while in DHCP but I do)

Kai or XBMC says it can not connect?

Kai: In the 'select a profile' dropdown box select 'Engine Only (for dashboards)'. In the 'Network adapter' dropdown select one of the 'autodetect' options. In the 'Close engine after' dropdown select 'never'. Make sure your default xtag and password in the config are the same as what you have set in XBMC and or Avalaunch (and have registered for on teamxlink.co.uk). Finally select 'any IP addy' in the Accept UI connections from' dropdown and hit ok. Then start Kai.

XBMC:
Settings-->Programs-->Kai: Set your Kai tag / Kai PW and the IP addy of the PC running Kai there.
Back up and reboot your Xbox.

All of this is explained in even more detail in the official XBMC + Kai Guide here http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=download

I saw an earlier post of yours. First ensure the XBMC folder is in E:/APPS, then, on C:, rename your avalaunch.xbe to goodavalaunch.xbe then rename the RENAMEME.xbe to avalaunch.xbe (we know this boots). The renameme.xbe, simply put, points to and looks for and launches E:/APPS/XBMC/default.xbe

Were you able to connect while wired? I would try that first before going wire free. Rule out one peice of the puzzle at a time.

Do IPconfig on the PC running the engine. The IP addy you'll need can be found there.
