Let me tell you, Call of Duty 2, nba2k6 and DOA4 were the only ones worth the money, so far. I will buy FNR3 next week and will write a review. I'm tired of nex gen games nothing living up to their potential.

Fight Night Round 3 will definately prove you wrong.. Just wait until you play it and see the graphics!! I've got the PS2 version of Fight Night Round 3 and the differences are massive!! for instance the sweat feature, the blood, the facial expressions, skin.. the whole game is decked up to maximum and I could definately say that this game is the best sim game out and lives up the next generation gaming potential!!

at first i thought this game will be all about just graphics... but damn!! the gameplay is addictive Very Happy

I take back my comment. Its impossible to button mash on the invisible boss. i think thats in time trials. My friend had a tough time beating that boss.

Ya the single player AI can be somewhat cheap, especially the final boss. It just takes some practice though...But you definitely have to like fighting games to get into it because you won't get very far with the 'button mashing' approach.

You've definately got your facts wrong about Fight Night Round 3. This game uses a 'Total Punch Control' feature by using the right thumbstick. What are you talking about with the 'Button Mashing approach'?? .. Get your facts straight before you speak!!!

i have never lost in fight night 3 against the computer in the hardest difficulty , you gotta know how to box :] ..

people that play fight night with the buttons suck, my friend whos a huge button player always talked shit to me about how good he is at fight night .. ya i stomped him into the mat in 3 rounds .. stick and move :]

when you play against someone who is using buttons its so easy to tell , they have to pause their punching to lean and vice versa because they have to move their thumb from the buttons to the right analog stick , thats when ya hit them :]

It's very good online. Plays smoothly the majority of the time for me. You get some buton mashers which I dont particuly like but you soon get the hang of how they play and can beat most of them.

i would love to play this game on live. Ive only played one other boxing game which was on PS2. And i got red of my ps2 in like....2001-2002. I kinda miss it.

Bought the game today, have yet to play it though, my mate grabbed the control pad off me, and spent 4 hours playing it...lol

I will spend some time offline to get my practice in, before i see what the competition online is like Razz

FNR3 is great. its second to GR3 (IMO)

I like to fight with custom boxers. alot of people say "fight me fair with normal boxers" but thats fake. normal boxers all have diff stats and some are better than others. the fairest way to play is for both players to have a custom- same stats, best way to show how good of a boxer you are (in the game lol).
