Gamers needs change as technology changes....Bummer!!

Since 360 has been on the scene Ive noticed the bunch of guys I used to game with on Xlink Kai has diminished to maybe only two or three people, we used to be a group of 10-15 guys who would play ever few days..It was pretty awesome fun at the time...but now its over!!

Anyone else found themselves left behind in the dust of the 360...Im thinking Xlink has noticed this trend quite dramatically..??

not really beucase i play with people that have 360's.

Ill admit that i dont play on kai that much anymore. But the only reason that i am not on there as much is:

1. Home town friends have live
2. Clans won't play

When i brought my friends to kai none of the clans ever wanted to play matches. It was like they were scared that the loss would go on their record. You can only get better by playing people who are better than you.

Well..Im still thinking that Xlink users have all run away over here in Oz...You know its funny..But I used to see so many more posts in this forums..now its just seems dead..

I remember coming home from work and hopping onto RC2 and playing RB6.

Good times, good times

The world has moved on as it does and now we have to deal with ping limits and next generation gaming devices.

But don't despair there might be a rebirth of Kai in the future.

Either way, you can count on MF to stay with XLink all the way. I play XBL but I still show on kai.

I'm about 75% XBL and 25%, perhaps you should invest in a 360 and play with your friends. Xlink One I'm hoping will turn the tide here, I love the community.

Funny you say that...I did buy a 360 and XBL, so we are all playin togeather still on Live but you know it aint the same as the good old days of Kai...I miss the realness of Xlink..Having to kick people from dedicated rooms and texting abuse to & fro with mates as we slayed each other via Black Arrow and Halo 2.

Its not the same with the 360 and live..we dont seem to have the conhesion that we did with Xlink...!! Maybe when more games like RB Vegas come out, this may change...but really, I would of prefered to be playin on Kai with my 10-15 mates not XBL...

I was one of the few members from [R.I.P] who didn't get a 360 on launch and almost wasn't going to bother.
I got a 360 when GRAW came out and then bought BF2MC for the 360 as I had played it on the Original and PC versions.
Most of the [R.I.P] guys are on Live now but we still want to keep to our ROOTS of [R.I.P] with Xlink Kai.

We have always classed our clan as a Kai-munity.

I haven't been on Kai for some mths now well before I got a 360 but if the 360 was more compat with Kai then ppl would still be on Kai.

I miss the days of R6 3 / R6 3BA etc you gotta admit we wasn't just gamers we were a Kai-munity Very Happy

I hope there is a summer champioship coming soon so the cobwebs will be brushed of the one and only original xbox.

ya if another RB6 tournement gets put together that would be awsome because i got the game a month ago and would love to be a free agent for it. Given im not as good as most of the people that play but id just enter for fun.

Your all talking as if people have gone to the 360 already, to me that is anythign but the truth. I only 'personally' know (in the real world kids Wink

) 2 people with a 360, everyone else is still on the xbox.
If anything the last couple months has seen me make more friends and contacts on kai than ever.

We've just formed our first clan, and are currently in the (european) LNC 2vs2 MLG Halo2 tornie.... Great days ahead of us.....

Agree 100%. And for everyone that does play on live. Recommend them to play on kai. I do that, especually when someone brings up XBC. I also tend to turn people towards kai on halo2forum since they have a section for it.

Your not doin much if you just sit back at watch the show.

well the only thing i see possible to do that is to find a way around the ping problem or soemthing, thats whats really killin us

wouldnt mind doing that. The only reason i didnt play here as much was the fact that kai clans hardly play schrims.
