Hi
I have XBMC V2.0.0, Kai installed on my PC, ports forwarded,
and everything is configured correctly. I can see arenas for
Halo 2 with good ping and when I press "Play", Halo 2 loads.

But when I go directly to my system link screen there are no
available games.

Does anyone have any ideas?

first of all make sure it works using the PC UI before trying to use XBMC .. its easier to trouble shoot the PC UI than XBMC ..

do you have any firewalls running , including the windows xp one ?

i always hated the statement "and everything is configured correctly" .. if it was it would work :]

I have the same issue.

everything works fine with the UI, network is reachable, the UI attaches to my xbox, I can join games in the UI.

with XBMC 2.0.0 and Kai, i can do everything but once in the game (not just Halo 2) as soon as pick my profile and Halo browses the network. the Kai engine crashes.

Any ideas?

munster.. load up the kai config and select your network card instead of autodetect and lock ..

Okay it works perfectly via the UI. Thanks tHc.

But it still won't work via XBMC.
I have Win2K and ZoneAlarm. I turned off my firewall, went into Kai Config and selected my network adapter. I then selected the profile "Engine Only (dashboards)". The only thing checked out of the 5 options is "Launch Engine". Close engine after "Never" and accept UI connections from "Any IP". My Kai port (3074) has been forwarded correctly and Deep Port is 0.
When I start up Kai again the same problem occurs.

thats odd .. it should make no difference at all .. xbmc is just a UI that controls the engine the same way the PC UI does ..

load a game , go to system link .. load PC UI and go into a game arena .. does a game show up ? .. go back to xbmc and let xbmc kai take the UI .. it wil close on the PC , you don't have to set that dashboard only option, just accept UI from any.. it should be in the same arena u just were, load the game again and see if its there ..

folow that ? :]

Ok I did what you said and Kai works in xbmc now!
I don't know why it wouldn't work before. After all, everything was configured correctly. Wink
Thanks tHc!
