cannot see games in sys link on xbox when connected to kai

I HAVE JUST REFORMATTED MY PC AND DONE A FRESH INSTALL WITH SERVICEPACK 2.
ALL OK SO FAR.
REINSTALLED ALL MY SOFTWARE INC KAI/XBOXCONNECT.
MY COMP RUNS THROUGH A ROUTER (NETGEAR WIRELESS 54G) HARDWIRED AS IS MY OTHER COMP AND BOTH XBOXS.
I CAN RUN XBOXCONNECT AND PLAY ONLINE WITH MY M8'S
BUT WHEN I RUN KAI AND ENTER THE ARENAS,
IT WILL NOT FIND ANYTHING IN SYSTEM LINK
JUST SAYS NO MATCHES FOUND EVERYTIME
HAVE TRIED FIREWALLS HAVE HAD TO RUN WINCAAP 3.1BETA AS KAI WOULD NOT SET UP AFTER PUTTING NEW SERVICE PACK ON WITH WINCAAP 3 (SAME FOR XBOXCONNECT)

ANY IDEAS PEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wink

umm, have you entered a kai port in the configeration tool.

you could use 8602 as XBC is already working, or you could forward a different port.

You need to see if.
* other users can see your ping/status
* Your console appears as configered, (this will only appear when in Sys link mode)

tried 8602 port in config
also set up port forwarding in my router same port but still no matches found when im in an arena
ie arena/xbox/first person shooter/ rainbow six3:black arrow/(a user)

still says on xbox no matches found

not sure where to go from here

Same problem.

I posted the topic 'Ports, IP's, routing ...' yesterday.

I can see people online now, and there ping, but I can't see any games hosted by other people and nobody can see my hosted game.
XboX continue looking for games...

I've got a ZyXel 650R ADSL modem with ISP Demon. The modem is conf. as a bridge and my pc is directly conected to the modem. The xbox is connected with the pc on antoher network interface.

Pleas help.

Ps. when my modem works as a bridge it'is a 1:1 connetion (or not?) do I have to forward ports then?

same issue as Kloanman - Xbox appears as configured, selected arena but no games show. Forwarded ports to pc running xlink, set ports within gui.

That zytel won't work unless you have 2 network cards in your computer, or have a cat5 going into a switch/hub

first of all, thanks for support Smile

My problem is:
I cannot find and join any games.
Kai tells me that my xbox is configured correctly. I log on but no games available.

Sad

I am connected with a router (Netgear) and have forwarded port 30000 UDP to my pc and port 34518 udp too (just in case).

Please help.

Hmm, this sounds like it could be a WinPCap problem. Are you logged into Kai now? If so I am in messenger mode if you would like to meet there for some tests.
