Yeah I read around on the forum a bit and none of it was very helpfull. I got XBMC with xlink kai already on it. Every time I tried to connect to the service it said "The service is not connected would you like to attempt reconnecting with Xbox Media Center?". Yes, I did enter my account name and my password on my xbox already. Does anyone know what to do? What I want to be able to do is go on xlink kai without having the computer on. Can someone tell me how to do this?

and as a side note I can get on xbox live just fine so I'm not sure its a network problem

You still need the computer on to run the Kai engine if you use XBMC kai. Www.teamxlink.co.uk goto downlaods and download the official xbmc guide.

So what is the ip address of the computer running the kai engine?
You will need to enter that in the XMBC settings screen.
