I'm just wondering if someone with a modded version of Halo can join a regular Halo game and have some kind of advantage? |

Only to a certain extent.
If anything is done that affects the size of the file, even just by a byte, then the game will go out of sync and the joiner will be kicked from the game. People can't be invincible or anything like that, but there's things liek glasswalls - a mod which makes all the walls transparent so people can see you the whole time. There's other things like making it so that if someone is wearing camo, they glow bright pink or whatever.
It dosen't happen much though, it's nothing to be paranoid about - if someone owns you more likely they're just a good player than thay're hacking |

No. I've never been interested in hacking Halo fo rplay online, the most I ever did was using Halo Cache Editor to mess around with a few things :\
You'd really cheat in Halo? Why ruin the best game ever? If you want to be better to beat people, practice, and if you are gonna hack online, please don't join a game I'm in. |

You can't tell if someone's cheating, especially on Kai since you don't have to join rooms. It takes about 1:10 to load glasswalls (I think, I'm going on what I read, as I've never used them.. Don't even know where to get them from ), so if you had to join a room, if you noticed someone joining a room then taking 1:20 to join, they could be loading their glasswalls.
But it can take most people that long to join sometimes - there's conversation going on, you have to boot your XBox, maybe set up a profile etc. So yeah, there's no real way to tell But like I said, it dosen't happen often
My apologies for jumping to conclusions in my last post |
