used to have a chocolate lab named Tripp, but sent him back to the breeder, NOT the pound or something like that. And he is with another family, he was just a really hyper dog, and it kind of holding us back from going on trips etc

Sorry to hear that mate.It's really tough when you have a dog or in my case 3 dogs, to get away.

Last summer P and I went to the UK and that was our first trip since our honeymoon 7 years ago. If it weren't for some very good friends who offered to take care of our dogs, we never would of gotten the chance to go.

Puppies can be extremely hyper but if you work through those years they eventually settle down quite a bit.

Also if you get a male chopping his bits off will also calm him down a bit. Wink
