showed a study on Rated M Games and Children To See If It Would affect Them
The Gave "Grand Theft Auto" Type Games To 50, 12 Year old slightly normal children for 2 months or so and recored the play time and the after effects of the children.
after the 2 months were up the recored the childrens acts for a month, nothing changed from before they played for 2 months.
Then The Gave GTA To Slightly Mental Children for 1 month and recored there play time ect.
they noticed something.
ITS ALL IN THERE HEAD, people can relize what is a game and what is reality. some people cant, if they cant.... then we Have VA Tech Shootings All Over Agian.
I think its funny how the reporter on FOX News Blammed Like Six Shootings On Video Games. Its Rediculas, he said "Something like this couldn't of just happend, he had to have some-way of practicing..."
last time i played GTA of any series, i dont recall ever able to go to a Tech University and Smoke`n Anything That Was in my path.

I find the fact that people are talking about game violence as possibly influencing the killings at VT this week amazingly callous and just plain insensitive. I understand it is human nature to want to find some justification for bad things that happen. The thought that some people just snap and behave irrationally and indifferent to human life is some how less frightening if we can determine a cause. My point is that it is far too soon to start analyzing this crime. A few days after the shooting our thoughts should be for the memory of the departed and the consolation of their friends and families.

Yeah, thats messed up. They did a little research on the guy and it turns out he wrote a severly messed up "play". Something to do with a family conflict. As far as blaming it on video games, thats just not gonna happen with this case.Columbine, yes, however the man who commited this disgusting act had real problems. My Condolences to the family's who were affected by this tragic event. |

its a shame. and wish the families all the well...i happened to share a birth day with Columbine shoot out... never will i forget that.. |
