Hi guys, im sorry for opening a new thread, but i tried everything and still it doesnt work.
First of all i have to say i am an Italian Fastweb User and i think that probably this is the root of all evil.
The PC which runs the engine and the UI is wired to an access point with static ip 192.168.1.3. The PC also has a WIFI MAX usb dongle, set with static address 10.0.0.1 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0.
I tried forwarding different ports: 30000, as UDP, TCP and TCP/UDP and also higher ports (i.e. 64000), because i read in some old posts in the italian section that my ISP could have had problems with ports lower than 30000.
I am using the right version of the drivers for the dongle (6.17.0.0) with the option psp link enabled. Ive also tried using the windows wireless zero configuration, but the same problem applies.
The PSP is set on Chan 1, and it is paired with kai.
When i changed ports i always changed the options in kai engine accordingly.
The "only" problem is that im always not reachable.
Ive also contacted the team kai operator for italian fastweb users; he suggested me to check if i could manage to get ping'd by other users but i cant even connect to arenas, otherwise the ui closes almost immediately.
Is there a way/fix-around to solve my issue?
Thanks in advance to everyone who can help me out
EDIT: is there an admin who can test my connection? Do the orbitals need to be "fixed" to support my nat'd IP? |

First of all make sure you also not only forwarded your port 30000, but you also went to(under windows)
C:\Program Files\XLink Kai Evolution VII\kaiConfig.exe
and set your kai port to port 30000. Other than that all I can tell you is that I'm pretty sure that its your ISPs FastWebs fault, and thus I'd checkout the Fastweb forum here for any possible answers.

The best fix is to get a new Internet Service Provider |

Thanks for your answer! You were the only one helping me last time in kai's messenger
I called my provider, it seems impossible for me to open up ports to allow kai to work correctly. I also tried to enable the "Public IP" option (my provider gives me 20 hrs/month) but still with no success.
It seems that i have to give up on playin online.
Thanks to $ony which is unable to make software houses to create games with a real infrastructure mode (c'mon, ad-hoc sucks) and thanks to my ISP, which to get a claimed "higher security" in the network, NATs every f*ckin IP of his subnet. Pathetic.
Still thanks a lot MstrGmr! The only thing i dont understand is why other italian users with Fastweb managed to get online, as i followed all steps correctly. I was hoping that maybe i needed my "virtual" IP to be saved in a sort of "routing table" on the Orbitals... More like an hope that a real solution... |

There are orbitals and DEEP orbitals the deep orbitals are what you connect to. In a fastweb environment. |

Do i have to setup ports only for deep then? Or both normal and deep port? |
