I have it set up

Modem (-USB Cable-) PC (-Ethernet Cable-) PS2

And my PC refuses to detect that the PS2 even exists.

I did, none of it helped at all. The computer dosent even see that the PS2 is linked to it to begin with, sort of leaves Xlink high and dry.

What I would recommend next is to remove Winpcap using Add/Remove Programs in the control panel. Go to Winpcap's download page and download Winpcap version 3.0, install that. This often resolves the problem you are experiencing.

You sure your network settings are correct? IP's, subnet mask, DNS, gateway etc etc?

Give them below and someone will help you out.

He's actually saying that the PC refuses completely to believe it exists, meaning Kai has no hope. I think it's more a case of incorrect network setup, unless I'm reading what he said incorrectly..

Exactally, which is why i felt this fit "Networking Setup" better. I have never networked anything before to be honest, never had a reason to, so I'm fairly lost here.
