runtime error at start up

whenever i start up xlink kai, a runtime error comes up saying

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\XLink Kai Evo7\kaiEngine.exe

abnormal program termination

i've ignored it an try to log on but the messenger window just goes blank and nothing happpens

download and install winpcap from http://winpcap.polito.it

i have 3.0 and 2.3

should i unistall them and then install this one?

I was having the SAME exact problem. I spent a good hour trying to figure out what the problem was. After reading this post I decided to uninstall the winPcap3.1 BETA and install 3.0. Worked like a charm! Thanks for the info guys!

DON'T USE 3.1BETA!

it was actually the oposite for me. 2.3 and 3.0 didnt work for me but right after reseting after installing 3.1, it logged right in no problems at all... i'm running XP.

i have to xboxs. can i play them both online?
