Some might remmember me some might not, what ever the case I just wanted to say hi and *wave* to the XLINK Community and all the people here. I have been busy in the last few months but im officially back and so is :gf: Clan.

-Quake2X (Getting it to work Online) (v.Done)
-Running a Dedicated Quake2X Server with mods. (v.Done)
-Installing Mods and Editing Quake2X (v.Done)
and some other ones...

If anyone has further more questions, im putting together a FAQ and Tutorials on how to set up Quake2X for your XBOX. Also how to get people connected and playing.

myself and fellow misfits are looking to get together for a game of Q2x but i think a tutorial would help us a lot to get this working.

I tryed once to get a game going, but failed, and to be honest havent been able to find the time to get it set up. (too busy playing Unreal)

i'm so glad your back mucker- ive been waiting. Now theres someone who will actually help get Q2 off the ground again.

btw- ive got my version going over to a pc hosted game too (dunno if youve done that yet but i assume so) just need to get some ppl together to give it a shot over kai. roll on the weekend!

Yeah I have gotten it to work over pc-xbox network too, that was easy because it detects network games and posts them into the address bars. But the actuall online games u have to enter the address into the config files for them to be able to appear. I have finally figured it out and will be requesting some guys to test it out. With me, but not until I get everything off the ground and make some tutorials. I was wondering that tutorial I did on the :gf: website about installing mods or I cant remmember what it was about. Was it any good if you could go and see / read it.

Since ill be needing some people for testing and would like to get to know some people, im setting up an IRC Channel for this project.

BTW, Riao and I tried to get this working over Kai the other night with no luck, so we had to just run it over a pc-xbox network. But it was aloot of fun. Laughing

Thankz a lot for all the replies, im also planning / looking for some staff members and I think im going to turn this into a development. I really would like to see Q2x hit it off because it would be awesome to have some clan matches and just plain fun. Cause Quake.2 is really fun and such a great game.
