September 10th XBL is Doing A Full Service System Check, Its Not Only To Help Bring In The New Thumb Board For The 360 Con, But Also To Kill Every Custom Firmware User, If You Are On Live Before And After *Mainly After* Your Account And System Hardware Will Be Permanetly Banned For Good.

There Is Not A Stealth Frimware Out For Any Drive That Will Be Able To Beat The Next Service System Check.

So Start Reflashing Those Hitachi Drives Ladies And Gents, Cuz Microsoft Is Doing A Big Sweep.

i think some countries law will prevent Microsoft for doing this, also if their system bans a wrong people (non-modded) they can sue M$ Confused

but since Halo 3 is coming they will probaly do something about it.

Unfortunately not as I think the XBlive Terms/Service an EndUserLicenceAgreement include information forbidding use of Xbox Live with a modded box. Microsoft can argue they are protecting their users by ensuring people that break this agreement cannot use the service.

I haven't actually read any news article about non-modded consoles being banned, and I am not including forums (anyones) or videos on youtube here...

I'm by no means a MS supporter but I do like to know what I'm using Wink

Btw My 360 is currently back with MS for repair/replacement, it will be intresting to see if it comes back fully updated?
