Nickfit! I've got MK:DD and I would love to play it! I just bought all the stuff to connect to Xlink and I don't want to feel like it was a waste of money. |

I'm from Southern California in the LAX airport area and I'm usually on at night 7PM to...20:xx and as much as possible on the weekends.
But sometimes I play Steam games like TF2 or NS and only occasionally CounterStrike and OverTheCounter-Strike (The non-source version)

Hello gamecube community... all less than 300 of you??? Um... so my 360 died 3RLOD, and the cords to my xbox have also gone to crap. Currently my only working system is a neglected GC. I'm considering upgrading my gamecube with the bba and playing on kai or something. Maybe...
These forums still active? On kai it looks like no one plays at all. |

For all intents an purposes, GC community here is dead  Main reason is difficulty in locating players within your area (lag issue). For example, where are your located? Europe? US? Which State? All this makes a tremendous difference when playing through XLink... And btw, 300 is number of players REGISTERED, not ACTIVE... I think 299 of them have already moved on to a different platform

Its not completely dead. I think allt he GCN owners got an xbox/360 now. Thats what I did. Plus with the wii no one would play on the GCN unless obviously they are playing LAN.

I could never do that to my baby cube. Everytime i look at my cube i think about how great it could have been. It had alot of hopes and dreams that were shattered by Father Iwata and uncle Miyamoto.
I used to look at it and think how great it was going to become
It still had great games tho

Me and OGEV use to play, but I haven't seen anyone on the GC server in quite some time...
On a side note, is Xlink compatible with Vista? |

*sigh* Not too many people play it nowadays... I had a couple of game swith OGEV, and that's it... BTW, please indicate which State you are in... If you are in Europe, then look around the forum - I've seen some PAL users there... |
