my hdd died

hi ya

can someone help my hdd crashed Shocked

and i had to replace it with an old maxtor 10g Laughing

but i cant lock it will my xbox still work ok with xlink

ya, the harddrive state will not matter with xlink, xlink will work with any game that has syslink and is running with a network connection (somehow connected to your computer or a router or a hub). So in short yes, dont worry about the harddrive, now if you are going to play on live, forget it.

cheers yeah i read all the stuff about live doing somthing to ur system or just banning u thats why i stayed away from it wots the best dash to use though

Best to do some research on all the dash's and thier features and see what you like best about them. This question comes up too often and starts a flame war. Go to Xbox-Scene, they should have good info for you. BTW, I use Avalaunch and I love it.

Although XBMC is also a GREAT dashboard replacement
