Next Kai 7 Problem

Ok, I just upgraded to the new kai and I can't join any games.

Everything used to work fine before the upgrade.

I followed SS-Funk's steps, remove old kai,remove winpcap, reboot, install new kai
In the kai gui everything looks fine I can join arenas, chat, see people's pings
the diag screen in the gui looks fine. It sees my xbox and the network

But I never see any games to join on the xbox.
The only hint that something is not quite right is in messenger mode my buddies pings are constantly "establishing"
In arena mode I see my buddie's pings fine

My pc doesn't have a firewall but I am behind a NAT router so forwarded port 30000 to my pc running kai and updated my kai port in the config.

That didn't help.

I'm out of ideas. Everything in the kai gui looks fine but my xbox never sees any games even in popular arenas like r6:ba or starwars Battlefront

Are people reporting pings to you? If not, there's a problem with your port-forward.

Yes they are. In messenger mode my buddies can see my ping (~170ms) but all I see is "establishing" for theirs

I'm sure it is a port forward prob but I have told my router to forward port 30000 to my PC and I told Kai config that my kai port is 30000 so I'm not sure what else to try.

P.S. Cool software by the way. I've probably talked more to my family back in blighty now than I did living there! All thanks to Xbox and Kai.

They are the ones with the problems, not you..

Also make sure that your Xlink kai config is set up correctly. I have had a few people that put 30000 for both Kai port and Kai deep port. It should be 30000 for the Kai port and 0 for the Kai deep port.
