As the title says, you don't necessarily need a "pc" to run kai... just an extra xbox
To use kai with just two xbox's you need:
-1. Both of the Xbox's to be modded (soft or hard it doesn't matter)
-2. A Xebian Xbox Linux cd
-3. Xbox Media Center
First launch the Xebian cd on one xbox, and install it to the harddrive if you want. Though if you don't you will have to keep reinstalling kai. Then install kai per the linux install instructions in this forum.
Once Kai is running on one xbox, then use xbox media center as a User Interface and start playing!!!

Ive been playing on kai using this setup for about a month now and it works flawlessly!
P.S. if you gte tired of the XBMC UI you can use the PC interface by setting it to UI only mode.  |

no need to be ashamed of your work space crunch mine is the same way
except i have wires computer parts desk and soda cans everywhere (remember i found that hdd under the soda cans)
if my camera still worked id take pictures |

wow my gaming area is even messier than that like 3x messier i have wires ps2 parts psp parts Nintendo DS L and R Triggers controllers computers USB Drives Gatorade Bottles Soda Cans Pictures (get your mind out the gutter) and much more  |
