How to improve Xlink Kai ping rate?

I live in Indonesia, which is in South-East Asia if you didn't know...

The problem is, even with my 512kbps connection, I still see other people (usually from the western part of the world) with 300-400+ ping rates...

Now I know this is because of my current location, since people from Singapore, Malaysia, etc that is nearby in my current region has only <100 pings...
Problem is, not too many people from asian region plays this game compared to western region...

Is there a way to improve my Xlink Kai connection or ping rate?

BTW, the game I'm playing is Monster Hunter Freedom 2,
can I play this game with the Monster Hunter Portable 2 (japan) version using Xlink Kai?

3 things that affect your ping.... and what you can do about them.

1. Using too much bandwidth makes your ping go worse to other people. Make sure you are only using XLink while you are playing to try to get a better ping/less lag. ex .. close msn , aim , torrents etc ..

2. Physical Distance affects ping alot. Try to be as close as you can distance wise to your other player. There isn't much more you can do in that area.

3. Getting a faster connection than the one you currently have can also somewhat help your ping, though not as nearly as much as the other two. Simply call your ISP and see if you can buy a faster connection.

1. Fix'd, I only got Kai opened when I go online, no other application goes online...

2. This... this might be the real culprit >.< ...
Maybe I should move to europe Very Happy

3. 512Kbps should be enough at the moment...

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is compatible with Monster Hunter Portable 2nd only through Kai. Smile

That thread is two years old: this CrystalBlack may not be active anymore.

Just get into the Mhfu's arena(Arena>Psp>Action>Monster Hunter Unite) to find opponents.
