Nobody's saying you need to become a political primp in order to be up to date on what each candidate's stances are on individual issues either. I happen to think one of the BEST shows on television, especially for younger people is "Real Time with Bill Maher". This comes on HBO, and i know there are probably a bunch of people who may not have HBO, but the episodes are still readily available at particular resources. I think that program is a terrific avenue for young people to get informed about political issues and news WITHOUT the stuffy, boring environment that you normally have from the news channels like CNN or whatever. If you watch ONE episode, i guarantee you'll be hooked.

2] i dunno where youre at but when i vote for Canadian or Polish elections, I don't get a day off.
