But it still won't find a PAL game(Havent' tried NTSC cuz I'm using PAL, heh).
It just keeps searching, and searching +++

well my only sugestion atm would be to try a diffrent game.
Halo is not always the best to test with.
Other than that it sounds like your setup correctly and should be working. |

How are you connected to the internet? Netgear Modem... But How USB/CAT5
How are you connected to the xbox? Switch?... What network card is being used.
I am picturing this atm
Netgear Modem (USB)-->PC --> NIC --> Switch --> XBOX
if that is how it is set up, make sure to select the network card the xbox is connected to in kaiconfig (you may already have it that way from the looks of your config.) What is NIC #2? |

Are you 100% sure the network is reachable?
Perhaps ask a few people in Arena if they can see your ping..

Are you sure that allows *UDP* traffic? Maybe just have a new port-forward 30000 UDP, as I would imagine 8080 to be TCP only. |

8080 is highly used as TCP for sure, I would change it to 30000 as dfunked requests. |

Your ISP blocks ports? I am not sure I follow there. |

I'm familiar with that particular Netopia router and it looks like it's configured where it should work for you. If diagnostics says the network is reachable then the port forward is working. I'm not sure why you started the port forward so low - it only needs to go from 30000 to 30000 but it should still get the job done.
I would recommend trying to meet up with one of us moderators in Kai and test this with you. I'm pretty sure that you can meet up with one of us at a time thats convenient as we're spread out across the world. I'm sure we can get this licked once and for all and get you online. |

Yeah, I agree..
The guy is using port 8080 - no problems with that I think.. If his network is reachable, people can see his pings (might wanna confirm with him) - but yeah..
So, given all that - it makes little sense.. we need to get you in an Arena with a mod, they can probably get you sorted..

What ISP have you got SiegWarheit?
Start regedit and find sting "ipenablerouter" set the value from 0 to 1.
Btw, http-alt 8080/udp HTTP Alternate (see port 80). Don't go that low. |

hehe the only time i tell people to go that low is if XBC is working for them as in they already set the port forward for that app.
I just tell them to stick the same port xbc is using in for the kaiport
other than that if they haven't set any port forwards, 30000+ is usualy safe. |
