I've searched through the forum, and I've (I think) forwarded ports for Kai, but it's still not getting past the requerying orbital mesh stage. I read something in another post about a proxy, but I'm not real clear on finding out whether this applies to me or not.
I'd also like clarification about whether you can forward ports while DHCP is still enabled. I also, for testing's sake, tried to log in with Norton Internet Security running, and Kai makes attempts (that I have to allow) on all the steps that Kai goes through until it gets to the querying orbital mesh stage ... then it doesn't make any attempt (or isn't allowed to).
I'd really love to get this working, but I don't want to seem like I'm being an annoying bother like some other posters have been. thanks a TON in advance.

I also searched one more time and realized that there's another post along the same lines ... and he's got a router identical to mine.

Read that thread again. There was a few things he was doing wrong, but they're fixed now. |
