I think that modding your xbox is one of the best inversions you can make.
I recommend you mod it (why havent you yet)
unless you got live, which, in that case, your screwed |

It's not as difficult as people think. It's just overwhelming because there's a lot of small steps.
if you can handle wirecutters/strippers and know how to twist metal wires together you can make an xbox to usb adapter in about 2 minutes. from there it's finding the right tutorials, which is super easy.
Trust me though, I have XBMC and its definitely worth it to be able to stream music/videos from any computer in the house, transfer files atleast 8 megs per second, and be able to do fun things like watch youtube or read webcomics from the comfort of my couch. |

Modding is the best thing you can do with your old xbox. Emulators, XBMC, Trainers, Mods, .... |

I remember mine... i got my Original XBOX on Tuesday afternoon and on Wednesday afternoon was modded and was running XBMC till today! |

I have to say i got mod Xbox and never realy gave me issues and i dont think it will ever will I say go for mod xbox if you get a chances  I wish Luck
