OK ive had the chance to test the new kai build, the one that doesnt use winpcapp anymore..
ive always stried to be objective when it comes to comparing kai to wp.
I had no problem admitting that wp was faster then kai with their last build.
But now, kai is just in a league of its own...
The speed is absolutely amazing. I played a game with s2s, and it was the fastest ive ever had with him. I'm talking 60fps with an occasional slight drop.
Thats with ping 25-40, playing from belgium to holland , from cable to adsl, different isps, 196kbs upload, over a distance of several hundrerds of kilometers.
Its the biggest advancement in speed ive ever seen in a single update, bigger then switching to non compressed, or bigger then the recast thingie.
TD, u rock, and so does everyone who made this possible (you know who you are)
im gonna record a video of it as soon as i figure out how the video in function on my new gfxcard works |
