Kai UI wont load. "Launch UI" ticked in config too

[b]Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? yes use zonealarm
[b]Operating System? xp sp2
[b]Problem description? UI will not load ever since kai updated. Launch Ui is selected in the config. tried to reinstall but will not work still. kai engine loads but the UI will not

First thing to look at here is in the program files folder of your C Drive, in the kai program folder do you see a file named KaiUI.exe?

If you do see this file, what happens if you load the Kai engine and then manually run this Kaiui.exe file?

Please let me know what you find.

if the file is missing an icon, or just for the heck of it, try deleting kaiUI.exe

When kai launches again, it sholuld download the UI for you again.

i had the same exact problem with the update downloaded a few minutes ago. un/reinstall didnt work either.

deleting the kaiui.exe (it had no icon) and relaunching kai downloaded the file and now im back up and running thx DIE-HARD...hope this works for vh_202 ...im pretty sure it will

This problem has occured before, and the said suggestions fix it - so I'm assuming user has solved the problem. Tell me if not.
