Is your network reachable? YES
Are you using a port-forward? NO
Is your console being detected? YES
Brief description of your network setup: Xbox connected strait to PC by NIC Card.
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? YES ZoneAlarm Pro. NO I havent made changes
Operating System? Win XP SP 1
Problem description? If my Xbox is on before i turn Kai on i'm fine and i can play games etc. But if i have Kai on and xbox off and then turn the xbox on the PC crashes. I went to windows update and got the driver update and all the other updates and i'm still having issues. Also in the UserConfig when i had it set to auto detect and lock it wouldn't detect my xbox but when i pick the right NIC then it does which is the Realtek RTL8139/810x Fast Ethernet NIC

For now, turn PAT off from Kai Configuration Tool. We've have a few of these similar problems crop up, we might need to investigate further to pinpoint this, although for most people, updating drivers for NICs and setting the NIC instead of "Autodetect and lock" seems to work.

Why not press the 'Help' button? It's there for a reason..

Port Address Translation. Don't tick it Smile Did it work?

There's been no word from Zippo so I assume this is fixed.

Problem Solved.
