You have no idea. I was woken up at 7 am this morning with 'I think we are in labour.' To which my groggy mind on 4 hours of sleep managed to respond with 'Wooohooo!'. Four hours later I was holding him in my arms.
Thank you all for your kind words guys. Gunslinger and I have been wanting a child for over nine years and nearly gave up hope. Today is extra special for us both.
It's times like this that make you realize the real heroes in the world are the ones who sleep beside you at night. My wife scoffed at the contractions and smiled during the delivery. She is the strongest person I know.

Don't forget to give it a chew toy, I regret giving a quarter to one and never got it back of course i was of the age of not knowing what would happen but hey you live and learn. O forgot Congrats on the child I remember Taking care of my Bundle of joy Now its all 3 years old and getting into the pantry without asking haha |

You should start teaching him immediately to speak English and Canadian. I wish my kids were bilingual. |

I'm putting that one in kai kwotes. Anyway Roland was the same weight as me when i was born That just means he'll grow up to be awesome. Congrats prestige and gunslinger! |

Thank you all so much for your kind well wishes.
I have to keep this short as I am really out of it due to the lack of sleep and the pain of recovery.
I just wanted to pop on and say thank you to you all.
although p and I am extremely tired we could not be happier..
We are truly blessed.
