Can anyone give we a quick tutorial on how to install kaiEngine 7.4.15 on Ubuntu 8.04 (64bit), to be used with Xbox running XBMC?
Will be very grateful!
Thanks |

Not sure what could be unclear after watching that video. Is it XBMC that is gving you headaches? If so, it's best to first not use the XLink Kai client within XBMC. Disable that within XBMC and use both the XLink Kai engine and UI on the computer.
Only use the xbox to load the game and select System Link within the game. |

I've got the Kai-engine working fine on winxp with xbox running XBMC on my network, what I want to do is run the engine on my ubuntu 64bit server, I get this error
kaiengine: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0.8: cannot open shared object file
I've got the 32bit libraries and have extracted them, but there appears to be loads of files and I don't understand which ones I need see :-

Could do with some help |

That error usually means that you're not running Kai as root. You either need to log in as root, or use sudo to run it. |
