This is the error I get when ever the engine starts. I've heard it's being worked on I simply wanted to give a more detailed post of the error.
execvp(epiphany, http://localhost:34522/) failed with error 2!
I also get this error when I right click the engine in the tray and tell it to launch and i get a similar error for the configuration...just for the config page obviously. |

what two programs? the engine runs and i can navigate the guide, just the auto launch doesn't work |

auto lanuch doesnt work for some reason i dont think, i think if i remember corretly you need to start it manually |

i knew that much but thanks for your help all the same...wish i knew a little more about linux and kai coding so i cud do somin to help out |

The problem is that Kai is running as root, but your browser settings are all attached to your normal user id so it gets confused. It's trying to run Epiphany instead of Firefox. If you log in as root and set your default browser to Firefox I think it'll work. |

ah thats what i was looking for...unfortunately i tried setting it thru the console and it's telling me there is only one option and nothing to configure
guessed im just doomed to fight my laziness and start the UI manually |

If i were you i would stick to doing it manually simply because i hate haven XLink on one sep browser window while the others are being used frequently. i rather have all my stuff in one window to keep my self organized as for you I'm not sure how big your monitor is but mines a 17" and it kinda sucks and no that's not wide screen its full screen |
