Disconnecting HALFWAY THROUGH a quest WTF!

can anyone help?
since upgrading to 7.4 i have started to disconnect half way through quests. it was fine for 2 days but now i never get to finish a quest without it happening.

i ran a speed test and the results are: http://www.speedtest.net/result/312132789.png
upload is 186Kb/s download is 1996Kb/s ping is 51.

any help is greatly appreciated.

your upload is your problem try playing just 1 other person and make sure there hosting.

But i never used to have any problems at all before 7.4 my upload never caused this to happen until now, is it just the new kai isnt quite so good as the old? if thats the case why release a new version thats not as good as the old!

also what is a "good" upload speed and can i change mine?

7.4 is beta .. you can still get 7.3 from the download section .. it will stop working at some point tho ..

i've been using 7.4 for months with no problems at all .. make sure your firewall is allowing the new kai correctly , delete the entry and let it re detect it .. also make sure in the config you have your network card set ..

I setup my PSP over XLink a couple of days ago and i was on a 64kb upload due to the fact i used all my usage and i was playing fine in an online quest. I was playing for around almost 1 hour and my connection didnt drop and my brother was on Xbox Live at the same time.

So yea check that all your settings are correct because ive had no problems

im still having the same problem but its intermittent so its kinda hard to work out whats going on.

Its your bandwidth. try only playing with 1 other person and make sure there hosting.

no its not my bandwidth, nothing like that has changed.
ive had 2 problem free years on kai, but since 7.4 upgrade its been lame Sad

i have tried all the above, and still i have occasional disconnections.
when i have time ill try uninstall and reinstall again. also when is 7.3 going to stop working?

yeah, get 7.3.1.7, scroll down the news section at teamxlink.co.uk. Smile

and also, 7.3.1.7 acts wierd on some computers, itll come up with a "Notification Socket Error", and sometimes you'll have to rerun kai around 3-5 times (sometimes even somewhere around 20-25 times), or restart your computer.

With 7.4 i recommend upgrading your plan to speeds up and over 512kb/s in order not to cut out or anything because alot of users have had the same problem as you and its due to a lack of upload speed.

PS: 7.3.1.7 will be getting disabled very soon so we strongly urge you to upgrade to 7.4 ASAP
