Help! Disconnecting - MHF2

When I go in parties of 2 or 3 other players, sometimes even 1 other player, my ping apparantly goes bad just as the quest loads, and I get cut off the second it begins. I notice when the quest is loading and I'm going to DC, everyone else's ping in the arena goes to bad. I don't know what causes it, it seems to be random, I don't know if its large parties or if that's just coincidence, but it's done it before when it's just been me and another hunter. It's really bugging me cause its interupting parties, especially ones that take ages to gear up for.

Game is Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Port 30000 is open. I really don't know what to do, and what's causing it. I'm using a Belkin USB wireless adapter and my computer is wired to a modem. At home (i'm staying at my dads) I use the same adapter, plugged into a laptop which connects via wireless.

Is anyone else having disconnecting problems? Is it just me? I've got no way of telling when it's going to work and when it won't. I don't want to say the reason is large parties, because that could just be coincidence.

I'll run a speed test when I get home. If that is the issue, I'll upgrade my broadband.

if youre using a Planex/WiFi Max or anything recommended for kai, then its your bandwith.

however, if youre using a slow adapter, that could also be the problem.

but since you said everyones ping drops to "Bad" once the quest begins, its your bandwith, or the distance/ms between the other people.
(try closing things like LimeWire/Torrents, they tend to make you lag like crap.)
