i got my Box for 54.99, games for about 50 total, U.E.C. for 1.99, head set H2SE for 2.99, and my HSC for 4.99. i'm all good. i want SC1 for 9.99 and they have it...so yeah Rico, it fails=)

i watched all eight of his video's and its all legit info, 100% true what they do, they just lost one un satisfied customer, but they obviously don't care.

So this guy is complaining that Gamestop makes money off of trade-ins? Does he think they're a charity or something? It's a hell of a lot better than the alternative, which is not being able to sell your used games at all. In a couple of years you won't be able to rent or buy used games at all because everything is delivered digitally and/or locked to your console once you play it.

Microsoft has already done that for there consoles it was the company's that built the dual layer roms that were the flaw in there Microsoft mass production.

Thanks TPP.

So, this guy's gripe is that gamestop pays people very little for used games and consoles and marks them up considerably. We are to consider this unfair market practise because you can buy and sell more affordably on Craigslist, Kijiji, or ebay.

Although this may be true, our video narrator seems to forget that there are overhead costs in running a retail outlet including store space and employee wages. Is anyone really surprised to learn that it costs you more to buy something from a convenient store location as opposed to a garage sale?

my turn....

I'm soon to be (within the week) going to be an assistant manager at gamestop....and I for one can't blame everyone that says we are rip offs...cause at times its just so true Razz

but on the other hand you can't get mad at us because people are stupid enough to do it Razz

....hence we are one of the most profitable companies...Now on the to Edge card....well honestly if your gonna trade in stuff get it...card cost 14.99 (no tax) a year....you figure that's about 150$ traded/buying used in one year...about 3 xbox 360 games...no brainer.its better than craigs list and get robbed in the process or like he said get scammed on ebay ..then there is game crazy and all the other competitors....yea well obviously they aren't doing so well...a game crazy just closed down the street from me...and we buy everyone else...game crazy offered us to buy them but we didn't want them Smile

true story...and well hate to say we bought everyone but apparently our strat to make us a success is working cause CBS is now advertising in our stores Razz

.....Thanks to CBS we now have a 42 in hd tv in our store with surround sound that has a computer built in that downloads new episodes of gamestop tv...so while you guys hate and what not its a great idea and they are counting their money Razz

As for working for gamestop its great as long as you have the staff to back you up and they aren't hella lulzy Razz

...(lulzy something we say at my store:P) anyway its a great job for kids going to school//college like myself going to college and working is great schedule wise and get paid pretty decent for putting games in a sleeve Razz
