Hey guys, I followed the guide stickied at the top, my PSP is connected to my computer, Xlink Kai says my PSP is detected and configured successfully. I'm using a 3945ABG Intel wifi card and promiscdetect.exe says I have promiscuous mode. I am running kai version 7.4.18 on windows xp.
As per the guide I search for MHF2 games with someone who has "1 sony" under their name, yet when I click to join the game nothing happens. The youtube video tutorials say the other players should just pop into my game or something, but it isn't happening. I'm at a loss. I've done a few forum searches for my wifi card but the only topics I found were on how to get my psp detected.
I probably missed something really stupid, but any help would be hot. Many thanks for your time and consideration. |

Disable your firewall. Then pull out the psp battery
put it back in power up the psp load the game and then try to join a quest. |

Ok, I have 3945ABG Intel wireless, with promiscuous enabled. Port is 30000, I'm reachable, psp is configured properly, firewall on wlan is turned off. I've set up static ip and using port forwarding. Yet nobody can see me in Guild Hall of MHP2ndG, and I can't see nobody. Tried earlier versions of kai but still the same. Took out psp battery for a while, placed it back, but still nothing. Any suggestion welcome!!! |

If theres any option to set your WiFi Card to detect the PSP SSID in a 802.11b (11b or something in options), then that might help to get it on.
just a wild guess, though it might be worth trying. |
