Gamecube Revival clan

That's right, I am starting a clan for a dead system. But hopefully it will catch on.

See, there is a thriving community of PSO players (who play online; including GC players) and they belong to the SCHTHACK server (google it). I mentioned all the LAN Gamecube games that are possible to go online with (including Mario Kart: Double Dash!!) on the Gamecube portion of their forums. Some users mentioned Warp Pipe (now defunct) and some mentioned X-Link Kai. That is what lead me here. I knew of this place prior to SCHTHACK and had a test account (for my PSP) for a while, but never actually got it to work (plus nobody was playing Final Fantasy Tactics).

So, are there any available Gamecubers out there who are willing to play? And if you have a Gamecube and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! but do not own a Broadband Adapter, just go to store.nintendo.com to purchase one for $35. I believe shipping is 5 dollars (to US residents only)

By the way, my copy of MK:DD!! is NTSC, so I'm sorry to all PAL and NTSC-J players. I am available on the SCHTHACK servers under the username of BradWii60.

warppipe is a sad place now. they abandoned their tunneling operations because of the lack of LAN support. They had a BIG april fools joke which is what u call defunked. Everyone was really hyped up about it and it was a major let down which resulted in what was once a great community to fragment across other gaming sites like here. They didnt deliver what they promised to their community. My account got locked when they migrated to the newest version of warppipe so i couldnt login to stay in touch with my friends who were on there. They ended up leaving and i gave up.

I have all my equipment set up to play MKDD but there is so much lag its almost not even worth it. The PSO thing might be neat but i dont have a copy.

The PSP community thrives here but the GCN community mainly focuses on this controlsim thing or what ever. Search around the GCN part of the forum Smile
